Every day is different, but here’s one way it might unfold.
Let’s say the plan is to see the Hollywood Sign, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the La Brea Tar Pits. On paper, that’s a pretty standard LA day for a visitor.
We might start the morning over coffee, discussing how you want the day to unfold. From there, we head toward the Hollywood Sign, choosing the approach that fits you, whether that’s a drive with a great vantage point or one of several hiking options, from shorter, easier routes to longer hikes that get you closer.
Afterward, rather than jumping straight to the next stop, we take our time moving through Los Feliz, Silver Lake, or Hollywood. This is where LAtitude Guides separates from a typical itinerary. Instead of moving from one stop to the next on a fixed schedule, you begin to see the neighborhoods that give LA its character, and how they fit together. We might walk, stop for coffee or a quick bite, or keep moving, depending on what feels worthwhile in the moment.
As the day winds down, we’ll also look ahead to the evening, with options for you to enjoy after we part ways. I’ll help plan dinner, and every itinerary includes a distinctly Los Angeles experience designed as a fun and memorable way to spend the rest of your evening. It’s something we’ll talk through during the day, based on your interests and what naturally comes up along the way.
Los Angeles isn’t a city you move through quickly. Neighborhoods that look close on a map can feel completely different once you’re there.
A day in Santa Monica has a very different rhythm from one spent in Los Feliz, Silver Lake, or Pasadena. Rather than trying to cram too much into a single day, the experience is designed around spending meaningful time in the parts of the city that interest you most.
That’s the idea behind LAtitude Guides: having a plan, while leaving room for the day to unfold naturally.
