Terms & Conditions

Welcome to LAtitude Guides (“LAtitude Guides,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Los Angeles-based personalized guest experience business operating as a sole proprietorship in California.

By booking, participating in, or otherwise engaging with LAtitude Guides, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Nature of Services

LAtitude Guides offers privately curated guest experiences, local hosting, neighborhood exploration, cultural recommendations, dining suggestions, and custom itinerary support in and around Los Angeles.

LAtitude Guides does not represent itself as a traditional sightseeing tour operator. Experiences are personalized and may vary based on guest interests, availability, operational conditions, and real-time city activity.

 

2. Booking Process

The standard guest experience process is:

Calendly booking → planning questionnaire → written confirmation → participant waiver → experience

A booking request is not considered confirmed until LAtitude Guides provides written confirmation.

LAtitude Guides reserves the right to decline bookings that are not aligned with our services, safety standards, scheduling availability, or guest fit.

 

3. Beta Experiences

During launch, LAtitude Guides may offer a limited number of complimentary beta experiences for testing, feedback, training, photography, service refinement, and operational development.

Beta experiences remain subject to these Terms & Conditions and any required participant waiver documentation.

 

4. Pricing and Payment

Future paid experiences may require payment through approved payment platforms, including Stripe or other approved payment methods.

Pricing, deposits, inclusions, and payment timing will be clearly communicated before confirmation.

No guest will be charged without prior disclosure and consent.

 

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled experience are eligible for a full refund of any deposit paid.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before, including same-day cancellations and no-shows, are non-refundable.

Guests may request to reschedule with advance notice, subject to availability.

LAtitude Guides also reserves the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel an experience due to:

  • weather

  • venue closures

  • traffic

  • public safety concerns

  • illness

  • operational limitations

  • major local events

  • circumstances outside reasonable control

When possible, reasonable alternatives will be offered.

 

6. Experience Modifications

Experiences are intentionally dynamic and personalized.

Locations, pacing, stops, dining recommendations, neighborhood routing, and optional activities may change due to:

  • crowd conditions

  • real-time opportunities

  • guest energy levels

  • accessibility needs

  • venue closures

  • safety concerns

  • weather

  • local events

Experiences may include walking, stairs, hills, public transit, or other moderate physical activity depending on guest preferences, routing, and itinerary design. Guests are responsible for arriving on time and bringing appropriate clothing, footwear, hydration, medications, and personal items needed for the day’s activities.

Transportation recommendations may be provided at guide’s discretion.

 

7. Transportation

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, guests are responsible for their own transportation to meeting locations and between destinations.

Guests who choose to use third-party transportation services—including rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft, public transit, bicycle share programs, scooter rentals, or similar mobility services—do so at their own discretion and assume all associated risks and responsibilities.

LAtitude Guides is not responsible for incidents, delays, injuries, losses, or service issues involving third-party transportation providers.

 

8. Food, Beverage, and Third-Party Venues

Experiences may include restaurants, cafés, bars, food vendors, museums, events, transportation providers, or other third-party businesses.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, guests are responsible for all personal expenses associated with their experience, including but not limited to:

  • meals and beverages

  • parking

  • admissions and tickets

  • rideshare or public transportation

  • bicycle or scooter rentals

  • shopping or personal purchases

  • optional activities

 

LAtitude Guides provides guidance, recommendations, and itinerary support, but does not cover guest expenses unless clearly agreed in advance.

LAtitude Guides is not responsible for:

  • food allergies

  • ingredient disclosures

  • dietary reactions

  • alcohol consumption

  • service quality

  • pricing changes

  • venue conduct

  • third-party injuries or losses

 

Guests are responsible for communicating dietary restrictions, allergies, accessibility needs, and personal limitations before the experience.

9. Minors

Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian.

The accompanying adult accepts full responsibility for the minor participant’s supervision, safety, conduct, and participation.

 

10. Guest Conduct

LAtitude Guides reserves the right to end an experience without refund if a guest behaves in a manner that is:

  • unsafe

  • threatening

  • abusive

  • intoxicated

  • disruptive

  • disrespectful toward staff, venues, community members, or other participants

Guest safety, respect, and professionalism are non-negotiable.

 

11. Media and Social Sharing

With guest permission, photographs or video may be captured during experiences for storytelling, marketing, website content, and social media purposes, including Instagram.

Guests may decline media participation by selecting “No” on the participant waiver or by notifying LAtitude Guides in writing before the experience.

 

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, LAtitude Guides shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, third-party, or special damages arising from participation in any experience.

Participation is voluntary and subject to the separate participant liability waiver.

14. Updates to These Terms

LAtitude Guides reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Updated versions will be posted on this website and become effective upon posting.
